Wichita Bus Trip
The LBG sponsored a bus trip Oct. 15 to breweries in Wichita, El Dorado and Emporia. Breweries visited included River City, Central Standard, Hopping Gnome, Wichita Brewing, Walnut River and Radius. Members in the Johnson County Brewing Society and Greater Topeka Hall of Foamers also attended the trip.
Norsemen Brewing Grand Opening
Congrats to LBG members Jared and Emily Rudy and Adam and Melissa Rosdahl on the opening of Norsemen Brewing Co. in north Topeka! Several LBG members attended the brewery’s grand opening weekend Oct. 14-15.
October Meeting
The LBG met Oct. 13 for its regular meeting. Vice President James Taylor led the seminar on fruit in beer. Biermeister Bob Dieterle led the tasting on pumpkin beers.
