
November Meeting
The LBG met Nov. 8 for its regular meeting. The seminar included blended styles of beers brewed by two pairs of members. Biermeister Bob Dieterle led the tasting on winter warmers.

Women’s Brew Day
Five LBG women got together Nov. 4 for a collaborative brew day. They brewed a gingerbread stout that will be on tap Dec. 8 at the LBG Holiday Party. It was the club’s fifth women’s brew day.

Learn to Homebrew Day
LBG members helped with two Learn to Homebrew Day events on Nov. 3. Chuck Ferguson brewed a pale ale at Cottin’s Hardware & Rental in Lawrence. Ryan Metcalf brewed a brown extract kit with James and Tara Taylor at Homebrew Pro Shoppe in Olathe. In 1999, Learn to Homebrew Day was established by the American Homebrewers...

November Hoppy Hour
23rd Street Brewery hosted the LBG’s November Hoppy Hour on Nov. 1. Hoppy Hours are the first Thursday of each month and are open to LBG members and friends and those interested in joining the club, homebrewing and craft beer.
