September 2023 Hoppy Hour
The LBG hosted its monthly Hoppy Hour on Sept. 7 at Servaes Brewing Co. in downtown Shawnee. Hoppy Hours are typically the first Thursday of the month and are open to LBG members and friends and those interested in joining the club, homebrewing and craft beer.
Kansas City Bus Trip
LBG members took a bus trip to Kansas City on Sept. 2. Members visited and toured Kansas City Bier Co., Vine Street and Alma Mader.
August 2023 Meeting
The LBG met Aug. 10 for its regular meeting. Vice President Bill Perkins led the seminar on brewing with adjuncts. Biermeister Leigh Keck led the tasting on shandys and radlers, including a choose-your-own-adventure ending with sodas from Mass Street Soda.
