SUMMARY:Big Brew Day Brew-Off and LBG Maifest
DESCRIPTION:Maifest\, one of the LBG’s annual events\, is just around the corner! The day – known by the American Homebrewers Association as Big Brew – celebrates National Homebrew Day and takes place the first Saturday in May. In addition\, this year Maifest coincides with the club’s first Big Brew Day Brew-Off competition! Winners will be announced at 2 p.m. that day. Stay tuned for details on raffle prizes available for those present! \nWhen: 9 a.m to 5 p.m. Saturday\, May 5\nWhere: Yankee Tank Brewing\, 807 E. 23rd St.\, Lawrence \n\nYankee Tank will provide:\n• Space (outdoor and indoor) for everyone to hang out\, brew\, eat\, laugh\, etc.\n• Power and water for brewing. Also\, Angelo will have a tank of preheated strike water and a sink full of sanitizer for anyone to use! \nLBG will provide:\n• Sausage\, buns and condiments\n• Tableware\n• Taps for your kegs\n• Smoker rig if you have a pan of beans or something that needs smoke/heat (thanks\, Bruce!) \nWhat to bring:\n• Side dishes (nothing needing refrigeration)\n• Homebrew and/or other beverages\n• Lawn chairs\n• Your equipment and ingredients to brew. This is optional but hope you will. Keep it simple!

SUMMARY:LBG Maifest
DESCRIPTION:Maifest\, one of the LBG’s annual events\, is just around the corner! The day – known by the American Homebrewers Association as Big Brew – celebrates National Homebrew Day and takes place the first Saturday in May. \nYankee Tank will provide:\n• Space (outdoor and indoor) for everyone to hang out\, brew\, eat\, laugh\, etc.\n• Power and water for brewing. Also Angelo will have a tank of preheated strike water and a sink full of sanitizer for anyone to use! \nLBG will provide:\n• Sausage\, buns and condiments\n• Tableware\n• Tents and taps\n• Charcoal for grilling \nWhat to bring:\n• Side dishes (nothing needing refrigeration)\n• Homebrew and/or other beverages\n• Your equipment and ingredients to brew. This is optional but hope you will. Keep it simple! \nVolunteers needed for:\n• Bringing and returning the club beer equipment trailer\n• Bringing and returning a few rental tables\n• Ice\n• A couple grills
