Feb. Meeting.

#1 Post by cyburai » Mon Jan 21, 2008 12:41 pm

Since the February meeting is on Valentines Day, can we move it to the Tuesday before (if the space is available at the fellowship)?

We also need to have an officers vote at this meeting.

I think if we move the meeting, we should move it to the following Tuesday. Too many of our members (at their own fault) do not check this forum. If we move the meeting to the following Tuesday or Thursday, at least we can put a sign on the door on the 14th for those who show up expecting a meeting.
Cheers!

That's a presidential idea John.
Thanks!

I like the idea of after, we have tickets to the dinner at Free State for the Tues before.

Tuesday before is also Ring of Fire at Lied Center. I vote for Tuesday after if it is available.

We can have the 21st, if we want it.

Any objections?

Go for the 21st. Do we have a phone-tree type plan that we can do to get the word out for the non forum users? If I can get #s I am more than happy to do some calling. I thing an on-line vote opportunity is a great idea for those not able to make it.

For the record, at this point, everybody running for an officer position is running unopposed. The vote is rather moot.

I agree with comments above, following week seems to be the better option.

I concur... 21st seems like the best date to me, for all of the above-stated reasons.

21st sounds fine. I would think that for some people the 14th might actually be fitting. ;)
