Dose anyone have a source for a March 809 Mag Pump?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: March 809 Pump
Ebay, there's a guy selling them off and on - you just have to watch. It's been the cheapest source I've found. Wire it yourself, or get someone to help will lower the cost a bit. The one without the mounting plate is less and not that tough to adapt for brewing.
Re: March 809 Pump
I have three variations, over the last two decades, of the "This is a cool beer pump" by March (all still working by the way, and all still used each brewing session), and the 809 series is without a doubt the best and easiest to use wort mover you can have-- period.
Re: March 809 Pump
Its been a few years, but I think this is the same guy. The cost is only $20 more than it was 3 years ago when I got mine.
Ebay sale that expires on 5/23

Na, doubt it.the 809 series is without a doubt the best and easiest to use wort mover you can have-- period.
I bought around 20 brand new March AC3CMD's from Kris England years ago for $60 each. I sold them for what I had in them just to help out people. They have more GPM and Head Pressure than the 809. But that was a deal of a lifetime. I kept 2 of them. With that said, the 809 is a nice pump. Very popular. But as Dan mentioned, keep an eye out on ebay. No reason to pay the inflated price for them from a online brew store just because they are popular.

Re: March 809 Pump
That is why I like the 809! For my system I do not need all the GPM or head pressure (only 4 ft in my set-up) I want a smooth easy flow without having to crank on a ball valve too much. But that is just for my system's requirements, mind you.Blktre wrote:They have more GPM and Head Pressure than the 809.the 809 series is without a doubt the best and easiest to use wort mover you can have-- period.

Re: March 809 Pump
Thanks to everyone for the info. I will be keeping an eye on ebay.
More Beer had a special on pumps (30 or 20 percent off) but ran out of stock.
... and the search goes on.
