The lady down at the water department is setting us up for water reports for both taps. Lots of info on them, will be working on formatting for the forum. Should have them posted in the near future- in native format, and hopefully in a format that will give a brewer the info he/she is looking for in a concise format.

What kind of filter are you using/thinking about using?

This is what I went with. The GE seemed to be the most ergonomic, and had the widest choices of filtration available. I have it set up with quick connects on the In and Out which I can close off and store. I am feeling as long as I run water through every 10-14 days the filter should stay pretty fresh. I would like to know what other people do with their filters- similar technique, take out and air dry, or freeze?

I air dry mine just for mold issues inside the cannister. I used to freeze but found that practice had no benefit. I dont even worry about running water thru it until brew day. But I always run a gallon or so thru the filter before putting water into my brew kettles. This practice seems to work for the last handful of years.
