October Meeting
The LBG met Oct. 11 for its regular meeting. Vice President Courtney Servaes led the seminar on NEIPAs. The tasting was a preview of Courtney’s future brewery, Servaes Brewing Co.
October Hoppy Hour
S&S Artisan Pub & Coffeehouse hosted the LBG’s October Hoppy Hour on Oct. 4. Hoppy Hours are the first Thursday of each month and are open to LBG members and friends and those interested in joining the club, homebrewing and craft beer.
Dwight Burnham Memorial Brewfest XXIII
The LBG hosted the 23rd annual Dwight Burnham Memorial Brewfest on Sept. 22 at Clinton Lake. The day included music, barbecue by KB Smokehouse and more than 50 beers on tap.
September Meeting
The LBG met Sept. 13 for its regular meeting. Dan Bauer, with Kaw Valley Meadery, discussed mead making during the seminar. Biermeister Bob Dieterle led the tasting on meads.
