Wanting to borrow a 2 1/2 or 3 gal ball lock keg.

#1 Post by Rob Martin » Tue May 25, 2010 2:26 pm

I would like to borrow a 2 1/2 or 3 gall ball lock keg right after July 4th for a family reunion. Does anyone have one I could borrow?

(Or sell it to me, but I doubt that)

Oh jeez...Dale is drawing me to the dark side, I meant BALL lock.

Rob, I'm will Bill on this one... I've NEVER seen a 2.5 or 3 gallon keg in Pin-Lock -- only Ball Lock.

Not to say they've never been made... just that I've never seen one. You'd be better off trying to find a ball lock and swapping out QDs.

Looking for a small, (less than 5 gal) ball lock to take some homebrewage to a family reunion in KY. I don't think we'll go through a full 5, and wanting to reduce the stuff in the trunk because planning on bringing back some other stuff.

Any 2.5 or 3 gal ball lock kegs?

This is one reason why I needed to borrow a small keg. There isn't a brewpub for 100 miles where we are vacationing. Beermapping.com can be both informative and depressing.

Second reason is (most of) my family will really appreciate it as well.

Thanks Jason, but I got one from Joe. Keg is empty, along with my 2 2-liter bottles. For a non-beer drinking family, it was quite popular.
