Someone convince me...

#1 Post by Frank » Tue May 24, 2011 9:07 pm

Ok I ordered everything to carb outside my serving kegarator however I got a CO2 distributor with 1/4' barbs. Everything else is 5/16" barbs/hose. I know the hose will fit fine because I plan to use Plex clamps anyway (I hate typical "worm" gear clamps). I also believe the flow rate of gas won't be that massive that the 1/16" difference shouldn't matter. This only thing that sticks in my mind is would the different cause a small slow gas leak? Not to mention I am little OCD. Would it be worth my time/money to return it for a 5/16" barb distributor?

You can always use 3/16" beer line for the CO2. Just place the tubing in hot water for a minute and then push it onto your barb...
