Change in events forum

#1 Post by cyburai » Thu May 14, 2009 11:57 pm

The events forum is now moved under members only area. Members can post events and stuff in here without the whole world knowing.

If you want an event listed in the calendar on the main site, just say so in your post. If you don't say anything, assume it will not be listed for the world to see.

New Calendar.

Non-members are welcome to post upcoming events in the General Discussion area, same rules apply if you want it posted to the main page calendar.

Thanks, Sean.

Just confirming....if it is on the calendar, it is open for all to see. Items listed in the events page are not necessarily on the calendar unless requested to be put on the calendar. Is this correct? Thanks

Since I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, I finally find the calendar even though you had it linked in the opening message. :( Perfect :!: :bounce:

How about changing the Lawrence Brewers Guild logo at the top of the forum page to go to the home page so I can get to the calendar quicker? For, you see that I am also lazy.

Let everyone decide and thanks Sean!

I added the code today, but it's not quite doing what I want. (It redirects anything to the forum index over to the main page. If you click on the logo at the top, it works fine. If you click on Board Index it should take you to the front page of the forum, instead it takes you to the main page.)

Home Page Logos Broken

#10 Post by klickcue » Sat May 23, 2009 7:23 am

Sorry for the message but the Home Page Logos are link broken.

The Logo on the forum redirects back to the forum again. The Logo worked nicely the other day to take me to the LBG Home page.

Thanks Sean!
Have Fun!
