https://www.facebook.com/story.php?stor ... 7KWYPwt54f#In April of 2024 Cory Johnston, one of the owners and founders of Fields & Ivy Brewery experienced a stroke that would alter his future and the future of the brewery.
Since that moment, Cory has spent time in a few different facilities working with amazing doctors and nurses focusing on his health while the team at the brewery focused on the day-to-day operations. We all rallied behind him to support his recovery and appreciate all of the patrons who have asked about him and his health since last spring. Your care and concern has been much appreciated.
Today, Cory has improved immensely from where he was last April but he needs to remain focused on his health and his future.
For that reason, Cory and family have decided to find a new steward to usher Fields & Ivy into the next era. The brewery is officially listed for sale and if you are somebody that might be that next owner we’d love to give you a tour, pour you a beer and talk about how we can continue to make some of the best beer and pizza in the midwest.
In the meantime, Fields & Ivy is still open. Very much so. We are about to release a new Kolsch and have a stout sitting in barrels that we will share with you in February. We aren’t immune to the current climate and like all restaurants and breweries would appreciate your patronage, but the sale of our brewery is a sign that we are ready for Fields & Ivy 2.0 and not to be interpreted in any other way. We appreciate your patronage since 2019 and into the future.
