LBG members helped with two Learn to Homebrew Day events on Nov. 3. Chuck Ferguson brewed a pale ale at Cottin’s Hardware & Rental in Lawrence. Ryan Metcalf brewed a brown extract kit with James and Tara Taylor at Homebrew Pro Shoppe in Olathe. In 1999, Learn to Homebrew Day was established by the American Homebrewers Association to promote homebrewing.
