Great Taste of the Midwest
Many LBG members attended Great Taste of the Midwest Aug. 8 in Madison, Wis. Great Taste is the second longest-running craft beer festival in North America, featuring more than 150 breweries and 1,000 different beers.
20th Anniversary Firkin at Free State
Free State Brewing hosted a special 20th anniversary firkin July 23 for the LBG. The firkin beer — called Chocolate Birthday Cake — was 2015 Owd Macs infused with Vietnamese cinnamon, cocoa nibs, vanilla beans and ancho chilis.
