KC Nanofest
Several LBG members participated in the KC Nanobrew Festival June 24. Members Andy Booth and Frank Dillon served Barn Sour, Golden Girl Brett, Pretty Belgian Blonde and Low Stock IPA with Extra Citrus. June Meeting
The LBG met June 8 for its regular meeting. The seminar included a presentation from Lawrence Beer Co. Biermeister Chris Stenger led the tasting on fruit IPAs and pale ales. James and Tara Taylor were the featured Homebrewers of the Month.
Back Porch Brewing
The LBG partnered with Ernst & Son Hardware on June 3 for Back Porch Brewing. Member Jon Keffer organized the event and brewed an American pale ale kit on site. Participants were able to mingle with members and learn more about the homebrewing process.
June Hoppy Hour
The Burger Stand at the Casbah hosted the LBG’s June Hoppy Hour. Hoppy Hours are the first Thursday of each month and are open to LBG members and friends and those interested in joining the club, homebrewing and craft beer.
