January Meeting
The LBG met Jan. 10 for its regular meeting. Vice President Courtney Servaes led the seminar on brew in a bag. Biermeister Bob Dieterle led the tasting on three-year verticals of Founders’ Backwoods Bastard and Goose Island’s Bourbon County Brand Stout.
January Hoppy Hour
Old Chicago hosted the LBG’s January Hoppy Hour on Jan. 3. Hoppy Hours are the first Thursday of each month and are open to LBG members and friends and those interested in joining the club, homebrewing and craft beer.
Holiday Party
More than 115 people attended the LBG’s annual Holiday Party on Dec. 8 in Lawrence. The night included a holiday meal, door prizes and beer exchange.
