Big Brew Day Brew-Off Judging
The LBG hosted judging sessions April 24-25 at the Free State production facility for the second annual Big Brew Day Brew-Off competition. Winners of the competition will be announced at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, during the LBG annual Maifest celebration.
April Meeting
The LBG met April 11 for its regular meeting. Vice President Leigh Keck and members Clint Wedel and Jarrod Lynds led the seminar on bottling and kegging. Biermeister Jim McGovern led the tasting on pale ales.

LBG-23rd Street Collaboration
Members recently brewed the eighth LBG-23rd Street Brewery collaboration beer. This year’s collaboration is a Norwegian hazy IPA with Kveik yeast and will go on tap in May.
